In case you’re new to Box Clever, or to the concept of self storage, here’s a list of our Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: What is self storage?

A: Self storage is a service offering flexible, do-it-yourself storage space. Box Clever provides clean, dry, individual storage rooms, access to which is available free of charge six days a week. Your storage room is locked with your own padlock ensuring that only you have access to your goods – and you come and go as you please, with no notice required.

Q: What is the minimum & maximum time I can store with you?

A: Our minimum storage period is seven days & you can stay as long as you like – there is no maximum.

Q: What can I store?

A: So long as it’s non-living, non-hazardous, non perishable and legal, you can store pretty much anything you like.

Q: How secure are my goods?

A: In addition to your own individually locked room, our building is protected by extensive 24hr C.C.T.V and BT Redcare security meaning for most people, goods are actually more secure at our facility than in their own home!

Q: How much does it cost?

A: We have 12 different sized rooms ranging from 10 square foot through to 200 square foot. The cost of storage depends on the size of room required and whether we have any promotions running.

Q: Can I access my storage room?

A: Yes. So long as we are open, you can come and go as often as you please. All we ask is you sign in when you arrive and sign out before you leave. Beyond that, it’s entirely up to you.

Q: What are your opening hours?

A: We are open Mon, Tues, Wed & Fri - 9.00am to 5.00pm. Thursday 9.00am - 7.00pm, and Saturday 9.00am - 12.00pm.

Q: What paperwork is needed?

A: All we need you to do is sign a simple storage contract and provide us with 2 forms of identification.

Q: Do you supply cartons and packing materials?

A: Yes, we have a wide selection of boxes, wardrobe cartons, bubble wrap, packing paper available.

Q: Can you receive items on my behalf?

A: Yes, we can accept deliveries for you in your absence with prior arrangement.

Q: Is it possible to view the storage rooms before I rent?

A: Yes, it is always advisable to view any facility for your own peace of mind, so please call in for a look around. We are here to advise and help wherever we can.
