The following hints and tips should help to keep your project running as smoothly as possible:

• If packing full rooms, pack one room at a time starting from the highest room and working your way down and towards the front door.
  
  
• Do not leave boxes half full - always fill with bubble wrap or similar to increase stability and security of the contents.
  
  
• Wrap any crockery and glassware individually to prevent damage.
  
  
• Tape an X in masking tape on any mirrors or glass framed pictures - and wrap in bubble wrap. This will maximise strength and protection during transit.
  
  
• If available, pack any household electronics in their original packaging.
  
  
• Use specialist wardrobe boxes for clothing as it minimises creasing.
  
  
• Always empty furniture. Leaving items in drawers, cupboards or wardrobes increases the risk of damage to the furniture and contents.
  
  
• Always pack books flat on their face and not on their spine.
  
  
• Drain fridges, washing machines and freezers at least 2 days prior to moving- and ensure you keep the doors wedged open.
